Successful Completion of the Freshers Orientation Program, Spring 2024_Department of JMC

 The JMC Media Club in collaboration with the Department of Journalism and Media Communication organized the Freshers’ Orientation program for “Spring 2024” semester on February 25, 2024 (Sunday) at 2:00 PM. This program was arranged to welcome the freshers.

The program started with the recitation from the Holy Books. 

In the first segment of the program, Dr. Afzal Hossain Khan, Director (In Charge), Student Affairs and Assistant Professor, Department of Journalism and Media Communication of Green University of Bangladesh, delivered the welcome speech by congratulating the freshers. He appreciated them for choosing the Department of JMC as the first step to their graduation.

After that, the newly admitted students of batch 241 introduced themselves. Afterwards, all the faculty members from the department introduced themselves and congratulated the freshers for joining the JMC department of Green University of Bangladesh.

Moreover, our guest of honor President of GUB Central Alumni Mr. Mostofa Monon warmly received the freshers with his inspiring words.

Towards the end, Dr. Aliur Rahman, Chairperson, Department of JMC and session Chair of the program, made concluding remarks by congratulating and thanking the freshers by making the right decision to join the Department of JMC.

At the second segment of the orientation program, a cultural program was arranged by JMC Media Club for warmly receiving the new batch. Students from different batches performed for them. All the students enjoyed the program a lot.
