Welcome to the Faculty of Science & Engineering at Green University of Bangladesh.
It’s a great time for meritorious students to pursue an engineering education at Green University of Bangladesh. Our degree
programs – Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering and Textile Engineering
(approval pending) are accredited by Board of Accreditation for Engineering and Technology Education (BAETE) of Institution of Engineers Bangladesh (IEB).
A recent labour market study projected huge number of new job openings per year for CSE, EEE, and Textile graduates due to rapid
digitalization and significant growth in Garment industries observed in the country.
Our faculty has a long, proud history of excellence in science and engineering education, beginning in 2003. In addition to offering
undergraduate degree programs in CSE, EEE and TEX, we are about to start B. Sc. in Civil Engineering (approval pending from UGC). In total,
these programs are offered to over 3500 undergraduate students.
We have started to follow Outcome Based Education (OBE) guidelines for conducting courses and examinations. We have updated syllabus of all
the programs so as to meet the requirements of industries. The students take part in industry visits, technical seminars, workshops, programming
and innovative project development contests and so on. Our internship program facilitates students to apply their skills and theoretical knowledge
from courses to practical engineering project in industry.
Many of our faculty members are internationally renowned and award-winning professors in their respective fields. Some of them are holding
executive positions in engineering professional bodies of the county. Our students have a unique opportunity to study and learn from trained faculty
members using world-class facilities and laboratories. Our faculty members are highly committed to produce competent and skilled graduates needed by
employers to succeed and become leaders of tomorrow.
