English Club (GUEC)

GUEC aims to create future leaders from the Department of English. For this it involves the students in various types of activities such as arranging freshers' reception, working as volunteers in seminars, cultural programmes, dramatic performances, and many other events. Also events related to student welfare are organized by the GUEC. The idea is to engage students in intellectual as well as creative, socio-cultural, and community activities. Mission

GUEC aims to nourish the inner aesthetic sensibilities, develop their creative faculties and their artistic self and train leaders to meet the challenges of contemporary life. The club focuses on sensitizing students to their environment, promoting liberal values and pragmatic approaches to the solutions of problems.
