Industrial visit of the Textile Engineering Department to the "A.K.H. Knit Fashion, Jannat Knit Fabrics, and Soa Knit Fabrics" at BSCIC

The Textile Engineering Department of Green University of Bangladesh has successfully organized an industrial visit to the "A.K.H. Knit Fashion, Jannat Knit Fabrics, and Soa Knit Fabrics" at BSCIC, Fatullah, Narayanganj, on December 23, 2023 (Saturday).

The students observed the maintenance procedures of the knitting machines with assistance from the maintenance supervisors. There were single and double jersey circular knitting machines and other textile machinery as well. Students were very excited, as they were allowed to see the maintenance actions of knitting machines. The students also thoroughly examined the maintenance actions of a recently introduced machine in the industry, covering all steps from initiation to completion. Indeed, this industry visit has greatly benefited the students specializing in Fabric Manufacturing Engineering in the department.

Overall, it was a very fruitful day for the students of the Department of Textile Engineering. The Department aims to organize these kinds of visits often so that students remain engaged with the industries.
